Pinkalicious Vintage Prom and Antique Show

I can finally announce the most exciting thing since pixie dust and pink Cadillacs, Texas Trash Jewelry is hosting a Spring antique show and vintage prom. That's right, get your old prom dresses out and your cowboy boots, we're going to prom retro style. Don't you remember when you were seventeen and prom was the end-all, be-all event of the year?? 

Let's travel back in time together for this spectacular event you won't want to miss. 

When: Friday& Saturday- April 26-27, 2013

Where: Anna Acres, Anna, Texas

Time: Early bird shopping will begin Friday night at 6:00 PM and the band starts at 7 O'clock.

*Tickets for early shopping and prom are $10 each and all ticket sales will benefit the Anna Fire Department. You can get your ticket at the door or visit one of my shows and get your discounted ticket early. 

**Vintage and Antique show will be open for prom attendees only from 6:00-7:00 Friday night and open free to the public on Saturday April 27 from 10:00- 5:00.

Rodeo Time

The end of July is here and now it's time for Rodeo Cheer!! I love heading out to the rodeos around Texas. I love the dusty dirt, cowboy boots and spurs, chaps, and the smell of horses and heifers. I know, I know, rodeos are hot and dirty, but who says you can't look like a million bucks?
I just added some new pieces to my website that would look perfect at a Texas style rodeo or your favorite honky tonk.

These boots were made for walkin'.....

So saddle up and ride the bull, but look fabulous doin' it.

Photo Shoot

I am so blessed to have amazing friends who would stand outside in the triple digit heat to take pictures wearing Texas Trash goods. Luckily my girlfriends are jezebels themselves and know how to work the camera regardless of the intense Texas heat.

Here are a few shots from the shoot, can't wait to post more on my all new website that will be up and running in a few days!! I'll let y'all know when you can make purchases online!!

My gorgeous friend Amanda is wearing this smokin' hot little pink slip dress. 

This is one of my favorite dresses, "Something Blue". It's made from an old crinoline and slip. The belt is made from hand-tatted baby blue ribbon. 

My mother is always fabulous wearing this little number made from an old prom dress and black lingerie, complete with a cameo pinned up top.

Nothing screams Summer like this vintage floral necklace, "Mann's the Man".

I have lots of new vintage belt bracelets to bring out you inner cowgirl. 

Like mother, like daughter- enough said.

Even Joyce felt her inner Hussie come out in the Texas heat.

The day was a blast from the past!! My next show is in Abilene at the Junk-a-rama sale on July 21st. Hope to see y'all there!!

Bridal bliss. ...

My sweetest friend Katie is getting married to her prince charming in just a few short weeks. My mother and I threw a tea party fit for a princess at my mother's adorable pink palace. Here are some of the pictures of the event.

East Bound and Down... Loaded up and Truckin'

Let me start by saying that Roundtop Antique Week is simply the grandest event in Texas history. I get more thrilled over rusty furniture, old jewelry, vintage photos, and lace than anything else in the entire world! Ofcourse prom night beats any old high school prom, I've never seen so many gussied up gals drinking whiskey and beer! So here are just a few pictures from my fabulous trip, with my very best friend, my mother.

So Pinky was absolutely the talk of the trailer park. Those big white slide- outs were so jealous of her blushing color and silver wings!

Ofcourse Mother Dearest and I looked fabulous in pink and blue. I love wearing my feather earrings from the very talented Brenda Stewart of Girls Gone Junkin'.

And we danced the night away under the big top, well atleast until our boots had enough boot scootin'.

Yes that is a teepee made from burlap and lace. Who says playing cowboys and indians can't be girly?

Many of Pinky's distant relatives were showing off their paint jobs at Roundtop too.

So I guess y'all are wanting to know what we bought, let's just say a truck load full and an elk named Henry.

......another pink trailer for my mother. Look out world - Double the Trouble. I promise to post more pictures as the restoration begins!! Thank God for antiques, pink trailers, and Daddy for not having a stroke when we told him about the BIG suprise on wheels.
